Main Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
- 2 teaspoon Cumin
- 2 teaspoon Coriander
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 400 g Tomatoes chopped
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1 handful Cilantro chopped, for garnish
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until golden brown.
Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
Add tomatoes and coconut milk. Stir well.
Simmer for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
