- 1 lb beef roast, thinly sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, cook until soft.
Add beef slices to the skillet, pour in beef broth, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Place hoagie rolls on a baking sheet. Fill each roll with beef mixture and top with a slice of provolone cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
