Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken, cut into serving pieces
  • 1 medium Green papaya, sliced
  • 1 bunch Chili leaves
  • 1 thumb-sized Ginger, julienned
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Water
  • to taste Fish sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, sauté garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
  3. 3. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the green papaya and cook until tender.
  5. 5. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Add the chili leaves and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Serve hot with rice.
