Ingredients 

Filling

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup Frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • ½ cup Milk
  • cup Butter
  • cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 package Refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Gradually stir in broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.
  4. Stir in chicken and mixed vegetables. Remove from heat.
  5. Unroll pie crusts. Place one in a pie dish. Pour chicken mixture into crust-lined dish. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.
  6. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
