Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 Large Onion chopped
  • 3 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Limes juiced
  • 1 tablespoon Allspice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 Carrots sliced
  • 2 Potatoes diced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine chicken, onion, garlic, lime juice, allspice, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Add carrots and potatoes. Continue to simmer for another 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  4. 4. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot.
