Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  2. Add chicken broth, chocolate, cinnamon, cumin, oregano, salt, and sugar. Stir well.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, peanut butter, and raisins. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  4. Blend the mixture until smooth. Return to pot and simmer for another 30 minutes.
