- 1 head Cabbage shredded
- 2 carrots Carrots grated
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup White Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Celery Seed
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, white vinegar, salt, and celery seed until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
