Traditional Filipino Lumpia Recipe

Lumpia Filling
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- 1 cup Carrots, finely chopped
- 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Cabbage, shredded
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
Lumpia Wrappers
- 20 pieces Lumpia Wrappers
For Frying
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, carrots, onion, garlic, cabbage, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
2. Place about 1 tablespoon of the mixture on a lumpia wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side.
4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
