Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Sauce
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup vinegar
- 3 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
