Main Ingredients
- 1 whole beef tongue
- 1 large onion sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 leaves bay leaves
1. Rinse the beef tongue under cold water.
2. Place the beef tongue in the slow cooker.
3. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, salt, black pepper, and bay leaves.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
5. Remove the tongue from the slow cooker and let it cool slightly.
6. Peel off the skin and slice the meat.
7. Serve with your favorite sides or use in tacos.
