Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground lamb or beef
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 lbs Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Stir in mixed vegetables, tomato paste, and beef broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender. Mash with milk and butter. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread meat mixture in a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
