- 4 pieces Cube steak
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 4 pieces Hamburger buns
- 1 cup Lettuce shredded
- 1 piece Tomato sliced
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
1. Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper.
2. Dredge the steaks in flour, then dip in buttermilk, and dredge in flour again.
3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the steaks until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
4. Drain the steaks on paper towels.
5. Assemble the sandwiches: spread mayonnaise on the buns, add lettuce, tomato, and the fried steak.
