Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Roast Beef
  • 2 slices Bread preferably sourdough or rye
  • 2 slices Cheese your choice, like cheddar or Swiss
  • 1 tablespoon Butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon Horseradish Sauce optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your broiler.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place the bread slices, buttered side up, on a baking sheet.
  4. Layer the roast beef slices on top of the bread.
  5. Top with cheese slices.
  6. Broil for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and add a dollop of horseradish sauce if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
