Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef Chuck cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Large Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Red Wine
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 2 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the beef cubes and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  4. 4. Return the beef to the pot. Add tomato sauce, red wine, beef broth, oregano, cinnamon, bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  6. 6. Remove bay leaves before serving. Enjoy!
