Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Catfish fillets cut into nugget-sized pieces
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 2 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 Eggs beaten
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the buttermilk.
3. Dip catfish nuggets into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
5. Fry catfish nuggets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
