French Toast Casserole

Main Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread cut into cubes
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Topping
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter cold, cut into pieces
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Place the bread cubes in the baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all are coated.
In another bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the bread mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Let cool slightly before serving.
