Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • ¼ cup pickling salt
  • 2 lbs cucumbers small, fresh
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled
  • 8 sprigs fresh dill

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, combine water, vinegar, and pickling salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Pack cucumbers, garlic, and dill into mason jars.
  3. 3. Pour the boiling brine over the cucumbers, leaving ½ inch headspace.
  4. 4. Seal jars and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 48 hours before serving.
