  • 4 cups corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon flour optional, for thickening

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the corn kernels, heavy cream, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
  3. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. If using flour, mix it with a little water to make a slurry and add to the saucepan. Stir until thickened.
  5. Serve hot.
