Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 4 large Carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2 large Onions peeled and quartered
  • 3 stalks Celery chopped
  • 1 bunch Parsley tied together
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 8 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place the chicken in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and skim off any foam.
  3. 3. Add the carrots, onions, celery, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Simmer for about 2 hours, until the chicken is tender and the broth is flavorful.
  5. 5. Remove the chicken and vegetables from the pot. Strain the broth if desired.
  6. 6. Serve hot, with pieces of chicken and vegetables in each bowl.
