Marinade
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
Chicken
- 1 lb Chicken Breast, cut into cubes
To Serve
- 4 pieces Pita Bread
- 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
- 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
- 1 cup Sliced Red Onions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
3. Grill the chicken skewers for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
4. Warm the pita bread on the grill for a minute on each side.
5. Assemble the gyros by placing grilled chicken, tzatziki sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced red onions on the pita bread. Serve immediately.
