Chicken Sotanghon Recipe
A comforting Filipino noodle soup made with chicken and sotanghon (vermicelli) noodles.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breast sliced into strips
- 200 g Sotanghon noodles soaked in water
- 1 cup Carrots julienned
- 1 cup Cabbage shredded
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
2. Add chicken strips and cook until no longer pink.
3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add fish sauce and soy sauce.
4. Add carrots and cabbage. Simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Add soaked sotanghon noodles. Cook for another 5 minutes or until noodles are tender.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
