Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast cubed
  • 1 cup Wild Rice
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Celery sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.
  2. 2. Add the cubed chicken breast to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. 3. Pour in the chicken broth and water. Add the wild rice, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  4. 4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
