- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the mushrooms and bell peppers, cook until tender.
3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
6. Add the cooked chicken and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
7. Serve over rice, pasta, or toast.
